          • Psalms: Dawud (David) was given the word of Allah in this holy book
      • Qur'an: contains the full truth and final revelation from Allah
      • Psalms: Dawud (David) was given the word of Allah in this holy book
      • gospels: Isa (Jesus) was given Allah's word in the holy book
    • prophets: risalah
      • adam:  The story of Adam teaches Muslims that they have to follow Allahs commands and not to allow Satan to tempt them to evil.
      • ibrihim: ‘He was thankful for the blessings of God who chose him and guided him to a straight path’
      • Muhammad: ‘the seal of prophets’ meaning that the quantities of all the Messangers are found within him
    • judgement day: akhirah
      • Jannah is described in the Quran as a beautiful place: ‘what a blessed reward, what a pleasant resting place’.
      • Janhanam is a place of pain and suffereing :’The fire will scorch their faces and their lips will be twisted in pain’
      • resurrection: ‘"does man think that we cannot assemble his bones? Nay we are able to put together in perfect order the very tip of his fingers"
      • this links with akhirah because Allah is omniscient so he will judge accordingly
    • predestination
      • ‘ in all things the master planning is god’

          • leads 5 daily prayers and the Friday prayer(jummah)

        • beneficence: ‘your lord’s bounty is not restricted’

        • transcendene= beyond human understanding
      • similarities and differences
        • Sunni Muslims believe in the six articles; Shia Muslims believe in the five roots
        • both enforce tawhid and risalah
        • angels are a bigger part of a Sunni muslims life
