  • 4.3- The Effect of Temperature
    • Reactions happen more quickly as the temperature increases
    • Increasing the temperature increases the rate of reaction because more  particles collide more frequently and more energetically
    • At a higher temperature more of the collisions result in a reaction because a higher proportion of particles have energy above the activation energy
    • Increasing temperature has a larger effect on the rate of a reaction!
