    • What you need to do
      • Make a detailed observation from the best positions
      • Make a detailed analysis, recording quantitative and qualitative data
      • Use the data recorded to create concise and detailed feedback
    • Observe
      • Need to know what the skill looks like when performed perfectly (perfect model)
      • Have a good idea of what could go wrong
      • Analyse a performance = observe how well the task is completed
    • Analyse
      • Consider something in detail
      • Break down into parts e.g batting, fielding, bowling
      • Look for the good points first, then look for areas of improvement
    • What you need to know
      • What has happened and why
      • Where you will observe from
      • What you want to observe, skills, game, fitness levels, competition
      • How you are going to do it - subjective, objective or both
    • Subjective analysis - based on facts, you have results and statistics to prove what you have analysed. Called quantitate analysis
    • Objective analysis - your opinion on what you have seen, need to have evidence. Called qualitative analysis.
