What is a multiple?
The multiples of a number are simply its times tables (e.g. the multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 34 etc...)

What is a factor?
The factors of a number are all the numbers that divide into it (e.g the factors of 24 are 1,2,,4,6,8 etc...)

What is the Lowest Common Multiple?
The smallest number that will divide by all the numbers in question.

The biggest number that will divide into all the numbers in question.

A locus is a line that shows all the points which fit in with a given rule.

How do you find the midpoint of a line segment?
-Find the average of the two x-coordinates, then do the same for the y-coordinates. These will be the coordinates of the midpoint.

What is wrong with this question; "What is your favorite subject? English, Maths or Science?" How could you improve the question?
It is a question that doesn't allow for all possible answers, e.g. someone might find History their favorite subject. You could add an "other" box.

What is wrong with this question; "Do you agree that heavy metal music is really good music?" What would be a better way to phrase the question?
It is a leading/biased question. A better question would be "What type of music do you prefer to listen to?"

What is wrong with the question "Do you play computer games a lot?" How would you phrase it differently?
It is an ambiguous question (one that could be interpreted differently by different people). A better question would be "How many hours do you play computer games per week?"

How do you work out the interquartile range?
Subtract the lower quartile from the upper quartile.

1. Draw the scale along the bottom. 2. Draw a box the length of the interquartile range. 3. Draw a line down the box to show the median. 4. Draw 'whiskers' up to the minimum and maximum.

Frequency density = frequency ÷ class width.
