What is the heliocentric model?
The idea that the Sun, Moon, planets and stars orbit the Sun in circles.
2 of 8
How did Galileo give evidence for the heliocentric model?
Using the telescope he saw four stars which never moved away from Jupiter, he realised that they weren't stars but were moons orbiting Jupiter. This showed not everything orbited the Earth.
3 of 8
What is wavelength?
The distance from one peak to the next
4 of 8
What is amplitude?
The height of the wave
5 of 8
What is frequency?
How many complete waves there are per second
6 of 8
What do waves do?
Transfer energy without transferring matter
