What is science?
A method of research that aims to find general laws that can be used to help us understand and control the world around us.

An independent variable (IV) is manipulated and the effects on the dependent variable (DV) is observed.

What is objective research?
Research that is totally free from personal opinions or prejudices.

What is falsifiable research?
Research that is able to be proven wrong by others.

What is replicable research?
Research that has a detailed set of specific precedures that can be easily followed by other researchers to gain the same conclusion.
