Photosynthesis is the process of converting:

Carbon Dioxide










The reaction requires light energy, which is absorbed by Chlorophyll.

Chlorophyll is a substance found in Chloroplasts, and Chloroplasts are found in leaf cells.

  • Plants absorb water through their roots.
  • Plants absorb carbon dioxide and light energy through their leaves.
  • The reaction takes place and glucose and oxygen are produced.
