- A group campaigning for womens right to vote.

Leader: Mrs Emmeline Pankhurst

Method used: more violent/disruptive methods.

(WSPU - Womens Social and Political Union)

The name Suffragette came from the Daily Mail, they called these women Suffragettes to insult them. The women kept the name.
