Durkheim came up with the term anomie however it was later adapted by Merton,therefore surely number one should be true?

I agree, my textbook even states it was D'heim that cam up with the term first!!..and there I was thinking I was wrong when it said i got the question wrong!! :$

terrible test, why even bother with 5 questions like this, which the writer of gets 20% wrong himself. Shady figure...? dumb test, pointless.

can you add more of these questions btw the first question is quite misleading it should say who first used it or who later used it because it was used by both durkheim and merton

Not really... I put 'true' and got it right. It asked who came up wth it, not who adapted it.
