Animal Biotechnology - Biology B3

A video I found that helped me revise for the B3 Biotechnology unit. It's a bit long, but hopefully it'll help someone else too :)

Animal biotechnology encompasses a broad range of techniques for the genetic improvement of domesticated animal species including selective breeding, artificial insemination, cloning, and genetic engineering. Learn about both biomedical and agricultural applications of animal biotechnology and some of the science-based and ethical concerns that are engendered by certain applications. This video is a little long but could obviously be viewed in two sessions but it does contain an overview of many of the key techniques in animal biotechnology  such as genetic engineering, selective breeding, artificial insemination and cloning. Pausing the video every so often and writing notes on what you can remember can be helpful.
